“Why do I love Stotfold?

When you peel back the layers and look at Stotfold, Stotfold has a warm inviting and caring community. A community which is rich in tradition, and to some degree welcoming of the future. The past twenty plus years has seen the village organically grow and become the community it now is. As the Mayor I am proud of the town we have become and the history that we have been entrusted to protect and defend.

Seeing the progress of our community, how we all integrate together and support one another is something exceptional.” — Cllr Steve Buck, Town Mayor

Steve Buck has a strong link to Stotfold’s community after living locally for several years. He is passionate about improving the quality of life for our residents here.

Steve’s priorities during his time as Mayor include supporting local businesses, raising funds for local charities, and ensuring Stotfold town remains welcoming and inclusive.

He believes everyone in Stotfold should feel their voice is heard.

Away from his work as Mayor, Steve enjoys spending time exploring local countryside walks and enjoying community events.

In his role as Mayor, Steve is dedicated to representing the town at various events throughout the year.

Steve encourages any Stotfold residents to reach out and talk to him about any ideas they may have to improve our town at [email protected]

Mayor's Chosen Charities 2025 – 2026

DKMS Blood Cancer Charity Logo

DKMS is a charity who have recently helped a young member of our Stotfold community find a suitable bone marrow donor while she has battled with leukaemia over many of her young years. This charity has done much to support the family over the years and her family and friends are keen to highlight the charity’s efforts and to raise awareness of their work.

Keira How is fundraising to be able to participate the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo with Great Britain Deaf Football. This incredible opportunity to represent England (and Stotfold!) on the world stage comes with significant costs and we hope residents will support our events to help her achieve her aim.
