28 February 2025 - 1st Arlesey Scouts Sleepout for the Homeless
Cllr Buck, Cllr Pauline Arkle (Arlesey Town Mayor)and Phil Johnys (Stotfold & Arlesey Royal British Legion) went along to support the Scouts in their Sleep Out to raise funds for the Homeless.

6 December 2024 - Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire's Christmas Carol Service
This Service hosted by HM Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire Susan Lousada was one of fifteen in the UK supported by the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales and was an opportunity to thank those who work within the community, whether as a paid vocation or volunteer.

Cllr Buck and the Town Clerk Emma Payne joined other dignitaries to celebrate all that makes Bedfordshire a vibrant place to live. This year’s celebration was hosted by Sandy Town Council Mayor Joanna Hewitt.

17 November 2024 - HM Lord Lieutenant's Service of Remembrance
The Lord Lieutenant hosted a Service of Remembrance in memory of those who lost their lives in collisions within Bedfordshire. The Service was organised by the Road Victims Trust, a registered charity that provides free emotional and practical support to all those affected by a road death across the five counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. The Trust works in partnership with the Emergency Services and Road Safety teams and provides much needed support to all persons affected by road death.
10 November 2024 - Remembrance Sunday Parade
Cllr Buck, members of the Town Council, staff and residents gathered to pay their respects to all service men and women past and present, to honour their sacrifice and to recognise the legacy they leave behind. “Lest we Forget”
20 October 2024 - Stotfold Town Council Civic Service
Cllr Steve Buck hosted Stotfold Town Council's annual civic service, an important event in the Civic calendar to thank a host of people who support and our Community. The service was attended by the Deputy Lord-Lietuenant Major Simon Sadler and High Sheriff of Bedfordshire, Bav Shah. Also in attendance were the Mayor's of Arlesey, Leighton-Linslade, As ever, the very poignant service was hosted at St. Mary's Church, presided over by Rev. Bill Britt

Cllr Steve Buck attended Houghton Regis Town Council's Evening Circus Event with a host of other local Mayors and dignitaries.
12 October 2024 - Labologist's Award
Cllr Steve Buck and our Town Clerk Emma Payne attended the Labologist's Label of the Year Award, where Stotfold's design for its Beer Bottle Label won second prize!
3 October 2024 - Newport Pagnell Town Council Civic Service
Cllr Steve Buck attended the Newport Pagnell Town Council Civic Service along with other Bedfordshire dignitaries and Mayors.
22 September 2024 - High Sheriff of Bedfordshire’s Justice Service
Cllr Steve Buck attended this service along with the Mayors of Dunstable, Ampthill, Luton, Houghton Regis, Shefford and Sandy. They met with Magistrates, Coroners and Under-Sheriffs who support our Community. The service brought a number of Towns and Parishes together under the "Bedfordshire as ONE" banner. Choral support was provided by the Woodland School in Luton, and a reading was given by Hersh Shah Chaplin to the High Sheriff.
18 August 2024 - High Sheriff's One Bedfordshire Fun Day
Cllr Buck represented Stotfold for the High Sheriff’s event at Luton Town and Indian Cricket Club. The High Sheriff underlined the importance of ONE BEDFORDSHIRE. Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue, Beds Police were in attendance. X-4RCE CIC is a mental health charity raising awareness of mental health for men, signposting many men to further support.
18 August 2024 - Stotfold Town Council Allotment Awards
As National Allotment Week unfolded across the UK between 12 to 18 August 2024, local (parish and town) councils embraced the opportunity to celebrate allotments' vital role in fostering community spirit, promoting sustainable living, and enhancing individual wellbeing The Allotment Award entrants were judged by Cllrs Buck and Anderson, with the categories being best Ecological Plot and Best Plot on both Common Road and Norton Road sites.
