Welcome to Gormsey Parish Council

Gormsey is an English (UK) Town and civil parish, situated in the Hambleton hills in North Yorkshire. The village is the western edge of the North York Moors National Park.

The Parish is going through changes at the moment with new new housing developments and expansion of the industrial estate. The Parish has excellent travel connections as it straddles the A1 and is at the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.

The Industrial Estate is home to units of all sizes from small family firms to one of the largest cracker manufacturers in the world.
