Stotfold Town Council’s rangers are the friendly, visible face of our community.
They are on hand to help residents and visitors to Stotfold with day-to-day issues around the town.
Where you’ll find them
The Rangers patrol Stotfold daily, proactively dealing with any problems and swiftly responding to reports from residents.
You’ll often find them out and about, maintaining our open spaces and streets. In their Stotfold Town Rangers-branded vans they ensure our community spaces remain tidy and well cared for.
Beyond general upkeep, our Rangers offer a valuable service in Stotfold by promptly dealing with minor issues before they become bigger issues. Their actions ensure Stotfold remains a pleasant and safe place for everyone to enjoy.
The Rangers work closely with community groups, schools, local businesses, and other agencies to promote community safety, environmental awareness, and pride in our town.
Responsibilities of rangers
The Stotfold Town Rangers handle a range of tasks, all crucial for the wellbeing of our town:
• Litter management – by keeping our streets, parks and community areas free from litter and debris, Stotfold Town Rangers ensure a clean environment for all visitors
• Park and play area maintenance – the Rangers will regularly inspect and maintain the playground equipment, benches, pathways and green spaces
• Minor repairs – one of the keyways of ensuring small issues don’t become big problems is through Rangers addressing small repairs around the town. This includes signage and street furniture.
• Community engagement – Rangers will assist at local events, engage with residents and promote environmental and safety initiatives across Stotfold.
