The Bedale Welfare Charity is governed by a board of twenty-five trustees, known as The Rector Four and Twenty. The trustees are assigned as below:
- The Rector of St. Gregory’s Church in Bedale (ex-officio)
- Eight nominative trustees
- Sixteen co-optative trustees
The board of trustees are both jointly and individually responsible for the overall governance, direction, and sustainability of the charity.
