During the Easter break, St Michael’s Church warmly opened its doors for a special two-week celebration as part of its 200th anniversary. Visitors were invited to explore a rich collection of displays, including historic photographs, books, newspaper articles, wedding dresses, and cherished memories from across the generations.
It was a joy to welcome so many people—both from the local community and further afield—who came to reflect, reminisce, and celebrate the church’s enduring place in the heart of Pennington. The event beautifully highlighted not only the church’s history but also the strong sense of connection and community that continues to thrive today.
