On 18th February 2025 Central Bedfordshire Council made the below named Traffic Regulation Order which has the effect as follows:-
To introduce No Waiting at any time on the following length of road in Stotfold:-
1. Buttercup Road, (main length), east side, from a point approximately 3 metres north of the south flank wall of No.1 Buttercup Road, extending in a southerly direction to a point in line with the north flank wall of No.6 Buttercup Road.
2. Buttercup Road, (eastern spur), both sides, from the east kerb line of Buttercup Road (main length) extending in an easterly direction for approximately 10 metres.
To introduce No Waiting Monday to Friday from 8am to 9.30am and from 3pm to 4pm on the following length of road in Stotfold:-
1. Buttercup Road, (main length), north side, from a point approximately 4 metres north of the south flank wall of No.8 Buttercup Road, extending in a generally south-westerly direction to a point in line with the south flank wall of No.16 Buttercup Road.
2. Buttercup Road, (main length), south side, from a point approximately 6 metres south of the flank wall of No.8 Buttercup Road, extending in a generally westerly direction to a point in line with the south flank wall of No.14 Buttercup Road.
This order will come into operation on the 7th March 2025
High Court Challenge:- Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement of that Section had not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of 18th February 2025, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
